The idea for Horse Girl started with a familiar phrase. A horse girl is someone whose love for horses becomes part of who she is. Her horse is not simply something she rides. Horses become part of her life.
I wanted to capture that connection in a crystal carving. I paired the words Horse Girl with Rose Quartz, traditionally associated with love, and added a simple heart to complete the design.
And Horse Girl was born.
For the ones who know a horse is never just a horse. Inspired by the connection between horses and the people who love them, the Horse Girl carving was created as a piece that feels personal, something to keep, display, or give to someone who understands that bond.
